GGWC Grow-A-Row

We’re so excited to be going out to the farm on 8/27/2026, from 5:30 PM- 7:30 PM to work.
**Each adult volunteer must register using the link below prior to the event to ensure there is as much time in the field as possible. Thanks for your help!

**If you will be attending the Grow–a–Row event on August 27th, please RSVP to Wendy by THIS Tuesday, August 18th and complete your registration. Let me know how many people are in your party (ie: kids, husband, friends, neighbors… be creative!). NO experience needed.
EXTRA SPECIAL: After your hard work, you will be rewarded with some treats, so plan to stay a little after our work is finished at 7:30 to chat and have a snack.
A typical volunteer event looks something like this:
– Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and so that we can start on time.
– They begin with a brief discussion about AGAR, their programs, and why volunteers are so important in the fight against food insecurity. Then they will give instructions for the task of the evening
– Volunteering in the fields to harvest a crop!
– They’ll wrap up by telling us what we accomplished (how many people you fed) during your time with them, which is always exciting!
